My food choice: Lau Lau

         My food choice was really hard because my parents didn't really know any family recipes that were passed down by generation except Lau Lau because my grandpa made in the mainland where my mom's family was born and then now, for almost all the parties we have as a family with all of our relatives, my aunty makes cases of lau lau for everyone!!

    Hi Josh,
    *chuckle* a recipe doesn't have to be "ancient" to qualify for this assignment :) It should, however, be something that brings up specific memories, events, people to mind...that is connected to your family.
    Laulau seems to work for this...will you be interviewing your auntie?
    Be sure to get your teammates to comment on your ideas, though. You're missing that part.

    Hopefully, you can make a good essay using LauLau! Are you sure there isn't any recipes that connect with your family? If not then, it's ok. Good Luck on your essay! :)

    I agree with Taira. Just make sure the recipe you choose to use has enough history and memories behind to make a good essay, but I do like lau lau :) Good luck with this:)
